HOW SUPPORTING GIRL'S SCHOOLS CAN MAKE A WORLD OF DIFFERENCE

With our partners and supporters and our team efforts and contributions, we have made beautiful transformations in the lives of many girls by offering them quality education where it is not available because of war that adversely affects the public education system and public schools capacity. We have procured critical infrastructure needed for the schools like learning aids, sports, equipment, computers, and other necessary structures like water tanks and toilets

Creating Safe Spaces and New Possibilities for Women and Girls

Creating safer space for Women & Girls.jpeg

Globally, women and girls have always faced challenging hurdles, from access to education and healthcare to gender-based discrimination, and COVID-19 has only exacerbated these issues. Women are taking on more childcare, losing their jobs at disproportionate levels, and being placed at increased risk of violence as their communities lock down.
Never has it been more important to support high-impact nonprofit organizations working tirelessly to make a gender-equal world reality.
Committed to advancing the rights of women and girls, Concern Organization for Women & Children CWC originally strives to put an end to gender-based violence through services and activities in Yemen. Through this initial work, it became clear that needs stretched beyond their founding purpose, and today CWC provides vital support to improve the health, economic, and social well-being of women and girls in their local community.

Hanan Ebrahim, Founder and CEO at CWC, shared: “ The time is now to engage, mentor, and help girls regain back their confidence which is paramount to raising their voices in sensitizing their communities and policymakers to be more intolerant of sexual and domestic violence, encourage balanced power in relationships, and provide more legal, social, and financial supports for activists speaking out.”

Empowering future leaders is more than just providing them with education, it is also empowering them with the skills and knowledge they need to counter stereotypes and obstacles in achieving their goals.

With the help of mentoring sessions, future leaders can become motivated, be more confident in their abilities, and be outspoken. Mentoring closes gaps and truly impacts lives.  Your support helped cover the costs of girls’ & boys’ mentoring sessions in 2022.

The mentoring sessions covered topics such as Self-esteem and Goal setting to help Yemen boys and girls improve their self-esteem and build smart goals, Time Management to teach Yemen mentees practical time management tips, Adolescence relationships, a field trip to help the mentees learn about developmental issues, Smart thinking and leadership to teach boys and girls basic problem solving and innovative tips, Personal hygiene, and self-care, Financial literacy to discuss significant financial knowledge necessary for making critical financial decisions
We are grateful to our supporters and partners for partnering with us to creat better possibilities for future leaders in Yemen and invite you to consider a year-end donation to support mentoring sessions in 2023.
Another great way to help us reach our goal is to share this project with your contacts and post it on social media.  Copy and paste the text below or create your own.
